Designed around a 1035 mm wheelbase with 73.5° seat and 71° head angles. The R1 carries a 500 Wh battery inside the oversized downtube without sacrificing ride feel or frame stiffness. Weight: 14.8 kg complete.

Builder's note
Every tube in the R1 is selected for the loads it carries. The downtube is oversized to house the battery and resist drivetrain torque. The chainstays are short for agility but boxed to absorb motor vibration. The head tube is tapered—1⅛⁄8″ to 1½″—because steering precision is non-negotiable at 25 km/h assist. We don't add material where it isn't needed. We don't remove it where it is.
